The Secretariat

14. The Council shall establish a Secretariat to run the day to day functions of the ASSOCIATION.

a. In establishing the Secretariat the Council shall, in consultation with the President, appoint personnel of the Secretariat on such terms and conditions as it shall consider proper. The personnel or members of the secretariat shall be full-time employees of the ASSOCIATION and shall be remunerated from its funds.

b. The Secretariat shall be headed by an officer to be known as the Executive Officer appointed as provided in sub-clause (9c).

c. For the avoidance of any doubts, the Secretariat shall, through the Steering Committee, be responsible to the Council and shall in this regard perform the day to day functions of the ASSOCIATION under the general direction of the Council through the Steering Committee.
